Have you taken secondary board examination conducted by CBSE in 2017? The 10th CBSE examination result is expected to be announced on 2’nd June 2017.

CBSE affiliates all Kendriya Vidyalayas, all Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, private schools and most of the schools approved by central government of India. The board results for all the 10 regions of CBSE will be released together.

CBSE 10th results are marked as grades for all the subjects under CCE (Continuous and Comprehensive Education) which was introduced in the year 2009. CBSE follows these grade points for the 10th standard:

  • A1 – for 91 to 100 marks  (grade point is 10)
  • A2 – for 81 to 90 marks    (grade point is 9)
  • B1 – for 71 to 80 marks    (grade point is 8)
  • B2 – for 61 to 70 marks    (grade point is 7)
  • C1 – for 51 to 60 marks    (grade point is 6)
  • C2 – for 41 to 50 marks    (grade point is 5)
  • D – for 33 to 40 marks      (grade point is 4)
  • E1 – for 21 to 32 marks    (no grade point)
  • E2 – for 00 to 20 marks    (no grade point)

Comparison with Last Year’s CBSE 10th Examination Results:

In 2016, a total of 15,309 schools were registered for the exam while this year it has increased to 16,363. This year over 8,86,506 candidate appeared for the for 10th board examination with 6.57% of school-based increase and 15.73% board based increase when compared with 2016.It must be noted that in the year 2016, the percentage of passing students was 98.87 hence the expectations are even higher this year.This year, Chennai has recorded the highest number of participation for the Class 10th board exams accounting to 1, 54,401 candidates.

Steps to Get CBSE 10th Examination Result:

Here are some simple steps that you need to take to find out your CBSE 10th result:

Step 1: Open your browser and visit the official website of CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) board or you can simply use this link – www.cbse.nic.in. You will be redirected to the home page of the website which will look like this:

You will find the recent announcements on the top right of the website. This is the place where you can find all the notification related to CBSE.

Step 2: Click on the link that says “CBSE 10th Results 2017” which will be displayed under Recent Announcements.

Step 3: You will then be redirected to the webpage where you need to put your details like your Roll number and Date-of-birth. The page where you need to put your details willlooklike this:

Enter your details in here and hit the submit button to get results or hit the reset button to put your data again.

Step 4: After clicking the submit button the CBSE 10th Results 2017 will be displayed on the screen. It will appear like this:
